II.
LICENSES

Sec. 11‑11. Required.
No person shall operate, maintain or
distribute in the City any coin‑operated soft drink machine, amusement
device, musical device, washing or cleaning machine without a license thereof.

Editor's Note ‑ Section 11‑12
providing for a residency requirement of two years for any person desiring to
distribute coin‑operated machines, and derived from Code 1956, Sec.
35.02, was repealed by Ord. No. 82‑14, Sec. 1,
adopted April 19, 1982.
Licenses under this article shall
commence on May 1 each year. (Code 1965, Sec. 35.03)
Sec. 11-14. Fees prescribed for Annual Licenses.
The annual fees for licenses required by
this article shall be:
(l) For
coin‑operated soft drinks, shall be as described in Chapter 21, Section
21.04 of this Municipal Code.
(2) For maintaining or operating any coin‑operated
amusement device, shall be as described in Chapter 21, Section 21.04 of this
Municipal Code.
(3) For maintaining or operating any coin‑operated
musical device, shall be as described in Chapter 21, Section 21.04 of this
Municipal Code.
(4) For distributing any coin‑operated
amusement device and/or musical device, shall be as described in Chapter 21,
Section 21.04 of this Municipal Code.
(5) For distributing any coin-operated
amusement devise based upon a card game or similar to machines commonly
referred to as slot machines, poker machines, electronic poker machines,
Joker-Poker machines or Cherry machines, shall be as described in Chapter 21,
Section 21.04 of this Municipal Code.
(6) For public coin‑operated washing
and or cleaning machines, shall be as described in Chapter 21, Section 21.04 of
this Municipal Code.
(7) Distributor for the purpose of this
section is defined as any person or entity that provides a machine for any
location other than one owned or operated by such person or entity. Failure to
have a valid distributor's license shall subject such distributor to a fine of
five hundred dollars ($500.00) plus a fine of ($100.00) per machine
distributed.
